1. vyradit parametry kernelu quiet a splash
2. pridat parametry console=tty0 console=ttyS1,115200n8
3. spustit getty na portu ttyS1 (pro fanousky solarisu – ttyb)

Na Debianu pridat do /etc/inittab radku T0:23:respawn:/sbin/getty -L ttyS1 115200 vt100 Na Ubuntu pridat do /etc/event.d/ttyS1 cely soubor

Na konzoli se prihlasime pres ssh na standardnim portu 22. Napiseme prikaz start /SP/AgentInfo/console a meli bysme obdrzet vystup podobny:

Pokud vam spadne pripojeni, konzole zustane aktivni. Bud se vam povede relogin, nebo ji muzete vypnout stop /SP/AgentInfo/console a znovu nahodit.
